This is a book that I wrote back in the early ‘noughties’. It is a book that has a collection of poems about things that happened in the previous years. Great sporting occasions, Mayo’s quest for Sam (before and after big games). I have also highlighted events that happened around my own town, in the community and surrounding area. There are verses in it about people that I knew well and that left a big impression on me but some have sadly left this world now. A great mixture of poems that bring back great memories. A lot of things have changed since then but these verses are still the same and capture what life was like back then. There is a lot of truth in them with also a little humour and fiction thrown in, hence the name A lot of fact A little Fiction
